Released in 1984 Zee was comprised of Dave Harris (Fashion) & Richard Wright (Pink Floyd) this was the only album they released.
Wright has stated that he feels Identity was an experiment that should never have been released - I'm not sure about that, its very much of its time, it makes heavy use of the Fairlight Synth a very expensive piece of studio gear. Rick Wright had bought one but had never bothered to learn how to use it after taking one look at the instruction book, which makes War & Peace look like a short novel! It was Dave Harris who took the time to master it after moving into Wrights house while they recorded the album (Rectory Studios was in Ricks home)
Having listened to the album again after 20 years or so I was surprised at how listenable it is, for me Strange Rhythm is a track that sticks out and I can see how Dave got involved with the emerging dance scene of the late 80's early 90's with Paul Fishman (Re-Flex) some of these tracks are a little bit ahead of their time.
Strange Rhythm
All tracks recorded from vinyl and mastered at 320kbps - includes both sides of the 12" single
(to preserve continuity of the original album some tracks have been joined together)
